What size should I choose?
Our Hair Bag® Do Rags are offered in three real size ranges—Small, Regular, and Big—based on your head circumference.
- Small: fits approx. 20″–21″ (labeled 20)
- Regular: fits approx. 22″–23″ (labeled 22)
- Big: fits approx. 24″–25″ (labeled 24)
These measurements refer to the circumference of your head.
Choose the size closest to your measurement for the best fit. If you’re between sizes or want maximum hair coverage, going up a size is often the best choice.

What makes your hair bag® do rag different from a do rag?
Our hair bag® do rags have a traditional do rag style with its side and center crown, band, ties and tail. The built-in hair pocket fully contains long hair, so you’re not dealing with loose ends, tangles, or hair getting in your way.

How do I put it on?
Pull it on like a hat.
When you’re ready, gather your hair like a ponytail, roll it, and tuck it into the back pocket.
Tie it to fit—crisscross or tie on top, crisscross under the pocket along the hairline and double tie on top.
How do I take it off?
Untie it, slide it off, your hair falls out—fluff your hair and you’re good.

Can I get a Hair Bag® Do Rag without the tail (scrub cap style)?
Yes.
Do Rag Style with a Tail Back
No changes. The tail will remain on it as shown in the product pictures.
Scrub Cap Style with a Tailess Back
If you prefer a cleaner, low-profile look, the tail can be removed to create a scrub cap–style hair bag® do rag.
This option keeps the same comfortable fit and hair containment, but without the tail—making it ideal for environments where a smooth, secure fit is preferred.
It’s still ponytail friendly and designed to keep hair contained, protected, and out of the way—just with a more streamlined finish.
Both options fit and wear the same—the difference is the profile. Make the selection preference when purchasing yours.
Is this good for growing your hair out?
Yes. Those in-between stages can be the worst—too long to ignore, not long enough to behave.

How do I care for my hair bag® do rags?
Hair bag® do rags can be machine washed cold and air dried or tumble dried on low. You can iron on low as desired.
For lace crown, we recommend placing in a laundry bag first.
What if I don’t have long hair issues?
If you don’t need the extra room for long hair, a traditional do rag may be a better fit.
It gives you the same secure, comfortable feel—just without the built-in hair pocket.
