Visors
Grab a visor for sunny days when staying cooler is going to be a challenge. Feel the breezes through your hair while containing the wisps with the band that stays put. The terry in the band absorbs moisture to help keep those sweaty drips out of your eyes. The D-ring back provides a perfect fit. Ideal for the not-a-hat-person who enjoys being outdoors. Practical for jewelers working on the intricate jewelry making, too.

Visors for shade and breathable comfort with absorbent bands.

Visor Variety
When visors were added to the headwear collection, they certainly had to be made in popular cotton prints. The dusty blue print was the first visor made. Lace layering has been used to dress up a plain cotton to create a fancy visor. Cotton material is certainly a go-to-fabric for them.
Custom Visor
It certainly made a unique visor by using the silk that was hand dyed by my daughter who helps at lots of the shows. Her visor really is a one-of-a-kind. Custom requests are welcomed on all headwear and it may be the best way for you to get something totally special.
Headband Alternative
Headbands work for those seeking to keep their crown open and the wisps out of their face, but they do nothing about shielding you from the bright sunshine. Dancewear performance fabrics are used for them and they are designed for durability. By using the same material in the visors, headband wearers are drawn to them and some find the bill makes the visor a better choice for their purposes.

What Do You Think of the Visor?
The day began warm at the Iowa Pella Tulip Time festival where the visors were introduced and the temperature continue to rise from there. It did not take long for the visors to be the sought for item as the sun continued to beat down.
As a designer, it is critical to listen to what customers think of the headwear. Some of the first gals to get one were happy to give their opinions on what they thought of them. They were pleased to have their picture taken in their visors, too.
Nut Roaster Likes It
It has been great to have The Nut Hutte as a neighbor at John C. Fremont Days in Fremont NE. The aroma of the German roasted nuts getting prepared provide an appealing smell from time to time. I like stopping and getting the treat for us as we work the show.
The new visors definitely had to be considered by co-owner, Jan I. It gets hot roasting the nuts and she gave her new visor a work out by wearing it during the entire show. I was pleased to get her, “I like it!”
The Nut Hutte is located in Omaha and they started back in 1997. They do shows in five states, sell at Farmers Market, have a kiosk during the holidays, and sell online. Check out The Nut Hutte by visiting their web site at https://www.thenuthutte.com/.
