Iris Boonie — First Smile of the Day
Her iris boonie was the first customer photo of the day—and a great way to start. She looked happy in it right away, and that’s always the best sign. When the fit is right and it feels good, you can see it immediately.

Moth Boonie — More Shade for the Garden
She came with her daughter and remembered the doodle dogs bucket hat she had seen last year. She really wanted that one, but it had sold before she got back.
She looked at the bucket hats this year, but nothing caught her the same way. As we talked, she shared what she really needed—shade. That opened the door to the boonie hats, and the moth print was the one that clicked.
When her daughter asked where she would wear it, the answer came quickly: in the garden.

He bought his ivy flat cap in a suiting material the first year I brought them to Wamego. His mom says he still wears it all the time—and they can always find him by looking for that cap.
He told me he’s washed it again and again, and it still works well for him.
While he didn’t pick out a new one this year, he helped his mom as she shopped. She was drawn to the military patrol capstyle and chose a blue one that will go with a lot of what she wears—an easy, everyday choice that works across outfits.
I also had him try the newer exact-fit Velcro-back ivy cap to get his feedback. His response was simple and valuable:

For him, the slider back is still the better choice—his head runs slightly smaller, and the slider lets him fine-tune that last bit of fit.
