Our first time at the Bee Cave Pecan Street Festival — held at Hill Country Galleria — brought a new location and a fresh crowd eager to discover handcrafted headwear that fits their life and style. From protective bucket hats to expressive head wraps and classic flat caps, visitors found something that felt just right.
Ivy Flat Caps: Classic Cool
A man drawn to the ivory linen cap knew the style well — it’s one he wears regularly. It paired perfectly with his white and blue Hawaiian shirt.
Another visitor found the big-sized blue-and-white plaid homespun ivy cap — his wife and daughter gave a little nudge, knowing it would suit him. The daughter, an avid quilter, asked about creating a custom cap from her own fabric. We loved her enthusiasm and told her we’d be glad to make one — it only takes a half yard!
Head Wraps: Elegance and Ease
Our head wraps got lots of love for their versatility and beautiful materials:

One woman, drawn to a silky red wrap adorned with flowers, effortlessly styled it with a glance in the mirror. She shared that her family was from Africa and that wraps were a natural part of their everyday life. Her confidence and style showed in every detail — a perfect fit for her.

Another customer, with flowing long hair, was captivated by a silky bargello-style wrap. The white in the fabric highlighted the white strands in her hair, and the design added a sense of movement and dimension.

A red-haired visitor selected a motley brown cotton wrap with tan curls. It complemented her coloring beautifully. Her companion even helped her tie it just right so she could let her hair fall over the back tie. A quick fluff of her bangs, and she was picture-ready.
Floppy Hat Refresh: Add Your Style
Under the Texas sun, a custom floppy hat caught the eye of a festival-goer. She selected a grunge pink band with sheer pink ties and floral accents, creating a stylish and functional accessory that provided both shade and a statement piece for the day.
Bucket Hats: Comfort and Character
A couple found their perfect festival companions in our bucket hats. He opted for a large-sized hat featuring vibrant purple and yellow pansies, while she chose a regular-sized hat with a dusty green geometric pattern and a light blue floral brim. Both were pleased with the fit and distinctive designs, ready to enjoy the festival in comfort and style.
