Apple Butter Makin’ Days
See apple butter being made in copper kettles over open fires at Apple Butter Makin’ Days in the courthouse square in Mt. Vernon MO. The festival is one of Missouri’s popular Fall events held on the 2nd weekend in October since 1967. Apple butter sales provide funds for charities. There will be food, from caramel apples to roasted peanuts, and 350+ arts & crafts vendors.
